Genesis features a simulation-based environment with five distinct biomes (Bog, Arctic, Ocean, Volcanic, and Lunar), mission system with rewards, teleportation mechanics, and unique HLN-A companion. Part 2 adds the massive Genesis Ship with advanced tek structures and space-themed gameplay unlike any other ARK map.
Genesis servers perform optimally with 20-50 players due to the mission system and biome complexity. We recommend 24-32 slots for most communities. The teleportation system allows players to spread across biomes efficiently, making higher player counts manageable.
Yes, Genesis supports Steam Workshop mods, but some mods may conflict with the mission system or teleportation mechanics. Structure and QOL mods typically work well. Test mods thoroughly as Genesis's unique systems can cause compatibility issues with gameplay-altering mods.
Genesis Part 1 introduces Bloodstalker, Magmasaur, Ferox, Astrocetus, and X-variants of creatures. Part 2 adds Shadowmane, Maewing, Astrodelphis, Noglin, Voidwyrm, and Tek Stryders. Each creature offers unique abilities suited to Genesis's advanced gameplay.
Yes, Genesis creatures can transfer through clustering. Magmasaurs, Bloodstalkers, and Shadowmanes are particularly valuable for other maps. Configure transfer settings in our control panel to allow or restrict specific Genesis creatures and items for server balance.
