How to Get the RCON Tool

  1. Download the zip file from [here]
  2. Extract the downloaded zip file/folder to a location on your computer (you may be prompted from windows with a security warning, click on "run anyway")
  3. Run the update.bat file
  4. Navigate to \SpaceEngineers_Rcon\steamcmd\steamapps\common\Medieval Engineers - Remote Client
  5. To start the program simply run the VRageRemoteClient.exe

How to connect and use RCON

  1. In Remote URL enter http://SERVERS_IP_ADDRESS
  2. In Security Key enter the servers security key (This key needs to be exactly 8 characters long)
  3. "The remote security key can be found in SpaceEngineers-Dedicated.cfg using FTP"
  4. In Port, enter the RCON Port from your control panel
  5. Hit “save” then “connect”
