How do I host a ARK: Survival Ascended Server?

With SurvivalServers

Running your ARK: Survival Ascended server is easy!

System Requirements

  • ~5GB of Diskspace

Installation

  • You will need SteamCMD.
  • Create an install.bat file. Inside of this file add following:
  • start "" steamcmd/steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +force_install_dir "C:\PATH\TO\WHERE\YOU\WANT\TO\INSTALL\SERVER\FILES" +app_update 2430930 validate +quit

    • Starting the Server

    • Create a launch.bat file inside the root directory of your server and add the following
    • C:\PATH\TO\YOUR\SERVER\ARK: Survival Ascended\Binaries\Win64\ShooterGameServer.exe TheIsland_WP?SessionName=server_name?ServerPassword=join_password?Port=port?QueryPort=query_port?MaxPlayers=max_players?ServerAdminPassword=admin_password
    • You will also need to forward the ports you've selected to use for your server on your router to enable users to connect!
    • Current Map Names:
      • The Island: TheIsland_WP
      • The Center: TheCenter_WP
      • Scorched Earth: ScorchedEarth_WP
    • Run the Launch.bat and your server should start booting!
