Meteor is a free, open-source Fabric utility client built for PvP, anarchy, and bot-style automation. Hosting your own Fabric server gives your group a private playground — your rules, your whitelist, no shared queue with strangers, full uptime so Baritone tasks can run while you're offline.
Meteor runs entirely on the player's client — there's nothing to install on the server. That means any vanilla Fabric server (or even vanilla Minecraft) is compatible. Each player on your server can choose to install Meteor or not, and their modules don't affect anyone else's gameplay.
For a small PvP / anarchy group on a vanilla Fabric server with 4–10 players, 2–4 GB is plenty. Adding heavy server-side Fabric mods (chunkloaders, custom worldgen, datapack-driven gameplay) pushes you to 4–8 GB. Baritone running 24/7 on multiple clients does not increase server RAM — it's client-side compute.
Meteor targets the latest stable Minecraft Java release (currently 1.21.x) along with several recent minor versions. Fabric typically ships loader support for new Minecraft versions within days of release, so Meteor users stay close to bleeding-edge MC. Our hosting supports the current Fabric line, switchable from the panel.
Hosting your own Fabric server is the cleanest way to run anarchy / PvP rules legally. You set the rules, the whitelist, the world reset cadence, and which utility client features are allowed. Many groups run a private anarchy server alongside their public Discord-whitelisted PvP server.
