Our Schedule I dedicated servers support up to 20 players. The base game's built-in lobbies are capped at 4 players, but dedicated servers run the community-built DedicatedServerMod on the normal Steam branch, which lifts that cap. Players can connect directly to the IP and port shown in the control panel.
Launch the normal Steam version of Schedule I and use the in-game server browser, or direct-connect using the IP and port shown in your control panel. If you previously opted into the alternate beta, switch Beta Participation back to None before joining. Your server runs 24/7, so you and your crew can drop in any time without anyone having to "host" the session.
Yes. Schedule I uses MelonLoader for modding, and our dedicated servers ship with MelonLoader plus the community DedicatedServerMod pre-installed. You can drop additional server-side mods into the Mods folder using the in-panel File Manager or FTP, then restart the server to load them. Players still join with their normal Schedule I client.
Yes. The Server Config tool in your control panel lets you change the server name, pause behavior, day-night time multiplier, auto-save interval and triggers, mod-verification policy, and moderation lists (operators, admins, and bans by Steam ID). You can save changes with or without restarting the server, which is useful for tweaking settings while players are connected.
Yes. Schedule I supports both PC (Steam) and Mac, and players on either platform can join the same dedicated server. Multiplayer is online only, so a dedicated server is the most reliable way to keep a persistent session running for your group.
